Vertical gaming mice are the next big thing in the PCMR and they’re turning many heads with their unique style. Vertical gaming mouse might look like alien technology to you but they’re just simple mice that are standing on their own feet. The vertical mouse features an ergonomic shape and it’s really easy to master.

In a hurry? TRELC Vertical Gaming Mouse is the best mouse in [year] because it is the only one that features a gaming-grade optical sensor. If you’re into those glowing RGB LEDs then Delux Wired Vertical mouse is a very decent option and the build quality of this one is also very impressive.

If you’re looking for a budget option then there’s nothing better than Anker Optical vertical gaming mouse. It offers the perfect posture for your hand but if you want the best quality vertical mouse for casual gaming then Logitech MX Vertical wireless mouse is the way to go.

Best Vertical Gaming Mice [year]: Reviews

1. TRELC 5D Vertical Gaming Mouse

Winner (Wired)

There’s no doubt that TRELC 5D is the best vertical mouse in the market because it is the only one that offers 10,000DPI.

Featured with a gaming-grade optical sensor and ergonomic design which is perfect for your wrist makes it quite easy for you to make up your mind about this one.

The 5D rocker on the top would be quite useless in some of the most competitive games but you’ll get used to it eventually.

The glowing RGB lights on the bottom are also a good touch but I wouldn’t say that the placement is quite right.

However, the buttons on this odd-looking mouse are very well placed and you will have excellent control over your mouse thanks to its rubbery side grips.

Let’s talk about the performance of this vertical mouse. Well, if you’re getting 10,000DPI then you can easily adjust the smoothness for each game and this is the only thing that you look for when buying a mouse other than it’s build quality and durability, of course.

Another perk of this upright gaming mouse is that it’s actually quite cheap and if you’re looking for a new experience and don’t want to spend too much then the TRELC 5D Vertical gaming mouse would be a wise choice.

Pros

  • Ergonomic Design
  • Very Fast
  • Ideal for competitive gaming
  • Rocker is very fun to use

Cons

  • Not best for people with small hands

2. Delux  Digital Vertical Gaming Mouse

Runner-Up (Wired)

Delux Digital mouse is surely one of the most stylish vertical mice in the market because of its glossy exterior backed with eye-melting RGB lights are a sight for sore eyes.

The buttons are very well placed but the scroll wheel is an exception. Although most of the vertical mice feature an ergonomic shape I wouldn’t say the same about this one because wrist-rest is just terrible and hand posture is surely not ideal.

Specification wise, Delux  Digital offers a max DPI of 4000DPI.

However, I would still recommend this one because it offers a lot of flexibility to the user with its programmable buttons.

One downside of all vertical mice is that all of them are quite big and not suited for left-handed people and if you’re either one of them then no vertical mouse is good enough for you.

Moving on, Delux  Digital also features a profile-memory function that allows you to save the settings for each game.

The optical sensor of this vertical mouse isn’t the smoothest and you might face some drags that really aren’t ideal.

However, if you own a decent mouse pad then you really wouldn’t have to deal with such issues.

Lastly, the Delux  Digital Vertical gaming mouse is another good option for you if you’ve set your mind on getting a vertical mouse that can meet all your gaming needs.

Pros

  • Plug n Play
  • 5ft long cable
  • Impressive build quality
  • DPI switch button

Cons

  • Weighs around 310g
  • Palm rest is just terrible

3. ZLOT Vertical Gaming Mouse

Best Value for Money (Wireless)

ZLOT Vertical gaming mouse would’ve been my first choice if only it could offer more than just 2400DPI resolutions.

ZLOT is one of the finest wireless gaming mice in the market that offers the best bang for the buck.

This vertical gaming mouse would cost you less than three cartons of milk and the best thing above this one is that it is truly outstanding when it comes to gaming.

ZLOT Vertical gaming mouse is a tad bit smaller than most of the vertical gaming mouse listed here and it could be a viable option for people with smaller hands.

6 customizable buttons and rechargeable batteries are the biggest perks of this mouse. However, I wouldn’t say that the programmable buttons are very well placed because it’s actually quite difficult to press the awkwardly placed thumb buttons.

The build quality is just average but the mouse itself is quite durable and will last for quite a while.

Lastly, ZLOT features an ergonomic design that offers a high comfort level for your hands and wrist which most vertical gaming mice lack. You can play for hours with this one without getting tired.

Pros

  • Very Cheap
  • Rechargeable battery
  • Forward/Backward buttons
  • One year warranty

Cons

  • Bad drivers support

Check Current Price

4. Anker Ergonomic Vertical Mouse

Best Vertical Grip

Anker Ergonomic vertical mouse is the best-selling vertical mouse around the world.

It features an ergonomic design that is truly designed to offer a smoother experience with minimum wrist movement.

The Anker vertical mouse is also featured with a decent optical sensor that can operate on any smooth or hard surfaces but the only downside of this one is that it only offers a max DPI of 1600DPI resolutions.

Anker vertical mouse is not advertised as a gaming mouse and it also offers very less DPI but still, this one is pretty good at casual gaming.

You’ll definitely be challenged in competitive games but if you’re more into RPGs and open-world type games then Anker is surely an excellent option.

The design of this mouse is actually quite impressive. It is ideal for thumb placement which offers the best vertical grip.

Unlike, ZLOT, forward and backward buttons on the thumb rest are very well placed and make things quite easier to navigate.

Another good thing about this one is that it is also very cheap and offers good value for the money.

Pros

  • Truly ergonomic design
  • On-the-fly DPI button
  • Nearly 5ft long cable
  • 18-months warranty

Cons

  • No RGB/LEDs elements
  • Only 1600DPI

5. Logitech MX Vertical Mouse

Best Vertical Mouse for Casual Gamers

Logitech is the only major company that is introducing vertical mice in the market.

Logitech MX Vertical mouse is one of the most expensive and highest quality vertical mouse that you can find.

It features a max DPI resolutions of 4000 which offers the ideal sensitivity for gaming.

Logitech MX is a wireless vertical mouse that sits at an angle of 57° which they say is perfect for vertical grip but the deep thumb rest is a bit hard to grab on.

Like all the other vertical mice, Logitech MX is only suited for right-handed people. The most impressive thing about this mouse is that it can be connected through Bluetooth as well as a Logitech unifying device.

Another thing that I liked the most about this one is that it can last for nearly 4-months on a single charge.

It is quite expensive though. To get an idea of the price, consider this, you can either get your hands on this finely crafted vertical mouse or get yourself 2x delicious steaks from Micheal Jordan’s steak house. Either way, both of them are worth it.

Pros

  • Premium build quality
  • Fast charging
  • Can be connected to up to 3 devices
  • Cursor speed control

Cons

  • Very expensive

Is Vertical Mouse Good for Gaming?

A vertical mouse is very similar to a regular mouse when it comes to performance and durability. However, a vertical mouse is more ergonomic and offers a very relaxed posture for your hand and wrist which makes it quite easy to play long-hours without getting the fatigue.

When it comes to gaming, a vertical mouse can never be as good as a regular one but because it offers more comfort, you’ll definitely prefer a vertical mouse over a standard one when you’ve played long enough with a vertical mouse.

Most of the vertical mice on the market are featured with top-class optical sensors and offer decent DPI that is enough to rule in the most competitive games.

If you’re having wrist problems or finding it hard to find your sweet spot on your regular one then switching over to a vertical gaming mouse would be a wise choice.

vertical gaming mouse review

Conclusion

These are the best vertical gaming mice that you can find on the market in [year] and if you’re on a quest for something that can meet all of your gaming needs then I suggest the TRELC Vertical Wired Mouse for gamers.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for something for casual gaming and browsing on the side then Anker Optical Upright gaming mouse and Logitech MX Vertical wireless mouse are great options.

But if you want those fancy glowing RGB lights then Delux Vertical gaming mouse will make your setup more attractive.

Lastly, anyone of these mice will be a good option if you’re looking for a new experience with an upright mouse.

Difference Between Logitech G305 and G Pro Wireless

DPI

Logitech G305 and G Pro Wireless are gaming-grade mice and they offer decent DPI resolutions to the players to find their sweet spot.

Logitech G305 offers a max DPI of 12,000DPI resolution with five different profiles. G Pro wireless features a max DPI of up to 16,000DPI resolutions and it can also be customized to save different DPI profiles.

G Pro is obviously offering more DPI and it’s a bit more future proof than G305.

Optical Sensor

Both of these wireless mice are equipped with top-of-the-line optical sensors that provide the most satisfying experience when playing the most competitive games.

The Logitech G305 is equipped with a HERO sensor that offers 12,000DPI and it is quite accurate and precise.

Similarly, G Pro is also equipped with a HERO optical sensor but this variant offers true 16,000DPI resolutions.

The performance of these mice is quite similar to each other and you won’t be noticing any flickering or smoothening with these mice

Price

There’s a huge difference between the price of G305 and G Pro Wireless. The Logitech G305 is much cheaper than G Pro wireless and if you’re thinking about buying this one then you won’t have to spend a lot of money on this.

G305 isn’t a budget option either but it is definitely a lot cheaper than G Pro.

On the contrary, if you’re thinking about getting your hands on the mighty G Pro wireless then you will have to spend a large chunk of money. G Pro wireless might be one of the most expensive mice in the market but one thing is for certain that this mouse is worth every penny.

The availability of these mice is an issue sometimes from the company outlets but Logitech G305 and Logitech G Pro Wireless are easily available on Amazon.

Design

The Logitech G305 and G Pro Wireless might look quite similar at the first glance but they are quite different from each other.

Logitech G305 adopted the shape of the early 2000’s ambidextrous mice with an RGB-lit logo in the middle of the shell. On the side, you’ll find 2 programmable buttons and on top, a simple scroll wheel next to a DPI button.

Usually, Logitech offers strange-looking mice but G305 and G Pro Wireless are an exception I guess.

On the other hand, G Pro also features a simple ambidextrous design with an RGB-lot logo at the bottom of the shell.

You won’t find any on-the-fly DPI button or any additional button on the top. However, you can add up to 4 programmable buttons on the sides.

Overall, the design is quite simple and there’s nothing extraordinary about the shape of this one.

One of the biggest perk of these mice is that both of them are very much suitable for lefties. It might be a problem for left-handed people to access programmable buttons on G305 because they are on the left side but with G Pro, you’re in for a treat.

Weight & Dimensions

Logitech G305  is a smaller mouse but it’s quite bulky. G305 weighs at around 99g (3.4oz) with one AA battery decked inside the mouse.

When measured, the G305 is found to be 11cm long (4.5’’), 6.5cm at the widest, and about 3.8cm (1.5’’) deep. I would say that G305 is not too big nor too small and it is right there in the sweet spot where everyone could easily hold up their end of the bargain.

On the other hand, Logitech G Pro wireless is a light-headed mouse and it weighs around 80g (2.2oz).

It is a lot lighter than G305 and the dimensions are very different as well. The Logitech G Pro Wireless is 12.4cm (4.5’’) long, 6cm (2.4’’) wide, and nearly 4cm (1.57’’) deep. Logitech G Pro Wireless is a very flexible mouse and surely a gamer’s friend.

Connectivity

Another similarity between the G305 and G Pro wireless is that both of them are equipped with the same LIGHTSPEED wireless connectivity.

Logitech advertised the LIGHTSPEED Wireless connectivity as the fastest wireless connection in the market and a majority of gamers are coinciding with the statement.

Both of these mice will have a very strong connection with the operating device and there’s no chance of lagging or stuttering.

Battery Life

G305 is offering phenomenal battery timings of up to 250 hours on a single AA cell while G Pro can last for nearly 48 hours on a single charge. Clearly, the G305 is the champ when it comes to battery life.

Logitech G305 Review

Logitech G305 Wireless is a very decent mouse and the specifications are quite impressive as well.

G305 was the best-seller of its time and to this day, G305 is regarded as one of the best gaming mice in the market.

The botched rubber grips at the bottom and battery mount are not exactly ideal but for this price point, I’d say that Logitech G305 is worth every penny.

If you’re looking for a minimalist gaming mouse with excellent specifications that will meet all your requirements then G305 is a pretty good choice.

Logitech G Pro Wireless

Logitech G Pro Wireless is one of the best gaming mice in the market and there’s no doubt that the performance and durability of this mouse are unmatchable.

Pretty much every major esports gamer is using this mouse and they seem to be very satisfied with their choice.

The simple design might be a bummer if you have an RBG-lit battle station but if you’re looking to get some wins in Warzone or Fortnite then you are going to need the Logitech G Pro Wireless on your side.

Conclusion

Logitech G305 vs G Pro Wireless: And the Winner is…

Both of these mice are an excellent choice and they are surely a performer but we feel like G Pro Wireless is the winner here because of its flawless internals.

The G305 is also a very good choice and if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option then go for G305 but if you’re on a quest to find a high-end mouse then Logitech G Pro Wireless is the way to go.

Difference Between Logitech M185 and M325

DPI

The Logitech M185 and M325 offer the same resolution of 1000DPI. All of the M series mice are offering the same DPI and also featured with the same optical sensor.

In other words, all the M series mice that offer 1000DPI will offer the same performance. Similarly, both of these mice are equally fast and will perform in the same manner.

Although 1000DPI is a bit on the lower side for modern times use but if you intend to use these mice for simple office use then you won’t be facing any problems.

Optical Sensor

There are a lot of similarities between the M185 and M325 wireless mice and the optical sensor is also one of them.

The Logitech M185 and M325 are equipped with an advanced optical tracking sensor that offers precision and accuracy.

You don’t necessarily have to buy a mouse pad for these mice because they can easily perform on rough and smooth surfaces.

But for a better experience, I’d suggest buying a simple and cheap mouse pad to have more precision.

Also, having a mouse pad gives a really nice touch to the whole setup so there’s really no downside to buying a mouse pad. I recommend the highly rated VicTsing mouse pad.

Price

The Logitech M185 and M325 are fairly cheap and when compared with other similar devices, these mice provide excellent value for money.

Logitech M325 is just a bit more expensive than M185 but the price difference is almost negligible.

The standard versions of these mice are quite cheap but if you’re going with custom paint works then you might have to spend a little more.

You can check the exact prices of the Logitech M185 and Logitech M325 here.

Design

When it comes to the size and shape of these mice, there are almost no similarities between the two.

The Logitech M185 Compact features a pretty ordinary shape and a medium-size mouse. The black and silver exterior and only three buttons on the mouse at a bit too simple when compared with some of the latest mice in the market.

All in all, M185 is a simple looking mouse and there’s nothing out of the ordinary which adds sophistication to the product.

On the contrary, the Logitech M325 features an ergonomic shape with a futuristic design concept.

The black and red exterior is definitely a treat for eyes and the side grips in the side panel provides a very firm grip.

The M325 is really a very beautiful looking mouse and when compared with M185, it really doesn’t stand a chance against the gorgeous M325.

Weight and Dimensions

The Logitech M185 is considerably a very small mouse and it is also a light-headed one.

The Logitech M185 features an ambidextrous shape and when measured, it is nearly 9cm (3.5’’) long, 5.8cm (2.2’’) wide, and approximately 3.9cm (1.5) deep.

The M185 weighs at almost 75g (2.6oz) which makes it one of the lightest wireless mice in the market.

On the other hand, the Logitech M325 is a tad bigger than M185 and also weighs a bit more.

When measured, we found that Logitech M325 is approximately 9.4cm (3.7’’) long, 5.5cm (2.4’’) at the widest, and nearly 3.9cm (1.5’’) deep. The Logitech M325 weighs at around 93g (3.2oz) and it is found in the mid-range wireless mice.

Hand Orientation

The Logitech M185 and M325 feature an ambidextrous shape which means that both of these mice are suitable for both, right and left-handed people.

These ergonomic mice are a great choice if you have to work for long hours. Personally, I’d recommend M325 because the side grips offer a very firm grip as compared to M185.

Connectivity

Both of these mice are wireless and offer a great connection between the mice and the operating device.

They are featured with the same advanced wireless technology that you will find in the rest of the M series mice.

Similarly, they also offer a maximum operating distance of 10m. You won’t have to suffer from input lag or sudden pauses with these mice.

Battery Life

There’s a significant difference between the battery life of these mice. The Logitech M185 can last for nearly a year on a single AA battery while the M325 can last for up to 18 months without needing a battery replacement.

Logitech M185 Review

The Logitech M185 is a great option out there if you’re looking for a daily driver for your office or home.

Logitech M185 is quite a bit cheaper than most of the wireless mice out there in the market and offers great value for money.

The design is probably not the most attractive one but the specs are astonishing.

If you’re looking for something that will last for quite some time then Logitech M185 is definitely a decent choice.

Lastly, the Logitech M185 can really come in handy and a good choice for home and office use but I think that M185 is a bit outdated.

It’s a good option if you’re on a budget but if you can spend a bit more, go for M325.

Logitech M325 Review

Are you looking for a quality wireless mouse that offers great value for money?

Logitech M325 got you covered.

The M325 is an amazing mouse that is featured with some latest technology which makes it very productive.

Aambedixtious shape is ideal for every kind of user and when it comes to performance and design, I’d describe this one by labeling it as ‘beauty and the beast’.

There are many more options available in the market in the same category but M325 is indeed one of the best choices out there.

In conclusion, I’d prefer M325 over any other entry-level office mice.

difference M185 or M325

Conclusion

Logitech M185 vs M325: And the winner is…

The Logitech M325 is definitely the winner here because M185 is a bit too outdated and when we compare the looks, M325 is far more pretty than M185.

In my opinion, M325 is the right choice here while M185 is only for those who are working on a really really tight budget.

Logitech M337 vs M557: Differences

DPI

The DPI of a mouse tells just how sensitive the mouse is. For ease of scrolling, you would need a mouse with high DPI.

DPI can also make your use of a mouse difficult if it’s too high, so for best performances, go for a mouse with a DPI that is high and optimal.

Both mice have equal DPI of 1000, which is sensitive enough but without being a nuisance to the user. So you can move your cursor across the screen easily without too much hand movement.

Sensor

Both mice make use of high definition optical sensors that provide a DPI of 1000. This allows for smooth and responsive control of your cursor on any surface you use, giving you precision and excellence as you work.

Since they both utilize the same type of sensors, there are both equal and would perform equally nicely.

Perfect Hand for Use

The Logitech M337 has an ergonomic design that is the perfect fit for right-handed users. So if you need the comfort of a mouse that doesn’t cause you pain after prolonged usage, this is a good alternative for you.

Logitech M557 has a slim and ambidextrous design that provides comfort to both right and left-handed users. So if you wish to work with both hands alternately, or you are a southpaw, this mouse is mainly for you.

So in terms of perfect hand for use, Logitech M557 wins as everyone can use it comfortably.

Connection

Both mice are wireless and connect to your device through Bluetooth. You don’t need to use a receiver and as long as your PC or windows tablet is Bluetooth enabled, you can work using the mouse.

With a range of up to 10m, you can work even from a bit of distance without limitations of wire length and torsion.

So in terms of connection, both mice perform equally.

Weight

A mouse that is too lightweight would feel flimsy in the hand, while one that is too heavy would be difficult to maneuver.

So the standard is to use a mouse that has good weight but not so much. Logitech M337 weight only 2.89oz (82g), making it a very lightweight and portable mouse. While the M557 weighs 3.77oz (107g) with the batteries.

So if you are looking for the lightest option among the two, Logitech M337 is the best option for you.

Battery

Logitech M337 runs on a single AA battery that has a life span of 10 months, so you don’t have to worry about replacements for 10 months.

The M557 however runs on two AA batteries that have a life of 12 months. So you have more power and less need for replacement.

So in terms of battery life, Logitech M557 wins.

Lighting

Both mice are simple and make use of LED lights to indicate the battery level. This puts you more in control and ensures that you know when your battery is low and needs to be changed. So in terms of lighting, both are equal.

Price

If you are on a budget and are looking for the most affordable mouse amongst these two, your best option would be Logitech M557.

Logitech M337 Review

Difference Between Logitech MX Master and 2S

DPI

There’s a significant difference between the DPI of these mice. The Logitech MX Master only offers 1600DPI (400DPI-1600DPI) along with a nominal value of 1000DPI.

While the Logitech MX Master 2S offers 4000DPI and a nominal value of 1000DPI.

The MX Master offers much less DPI when compared with 2S which means that this mouse is a bit slower than 2S and there’s a marginal difference between the performance of these mice.

DPI matters a lot when you’re using a mouse on a 120hz monitor or a projector. In such a case, the more DPI your mouse has, the faster it will be and in this scenario, 2S will easily outperform MX Master.

Optical Sensor

The Logitech MX Master and 2S are featuring the same optical sensors but offer different DPI resolutions.

Both of these mice are equipped with the ‘Darkfield laser sensor’ that is known for its unmatched performance on rough and smooth surfaces.

This optical sensor is indeed one of the best when it comes to business mice. You might not get the quickest response from this mouse but one thing is for certain is that it will live for a very long time.

These mice are very precise and very productive. There’s no drag in pointer tracking with these mice and the on-the-fly DPI button will allow you to change the sensitivity of the mice anytime you want.

Price

These mice are quite expensive. However, if you take into consideration what you get, they offer good value for money.

If you’re on a budget, go for the MX Master because it’s cheaper than the MX Master 2S.

Check the current prices of Logitech MX Master and MX Master 2S here.

Design

The design of Logitech MX Master and 2S is very similar and both of them feature the same ergonomic shape.

The MX Master offers a glossy exterior with brownish side panels and carbon rubber grips on the side.

It also features a hyper scroll wheel and a DPI button on the top of the mice.

The build quality of the exterior of the mouse is surely impressive and I’d go ahead and say that the build quality of this mouse is far better than some of the biggest names in the market.

Moving onto the MX Master 2S, the design and shape are pretty much the same but it features a minimalist look.

Matte-black exterior with silver side panels and same carbon rubbers on the side grips. This one also features small LEDs on the side that are also a nice touch to the overall presentation.

Weight & Dimensions

These flagship mice are quite big. If you have small hands then these mice are probably not the best options for you.

We’ve measured the MX Master and here are the dimensions of this mouse. The MX Master is 12.6cm (4.9’’) long, 8.5cm (3.3’’) at the widest, and nearly 4.4cm (1.7’’) tall. Weighing at nearly 145g (5.1oz), MX Master is one of the heaviest mice in the market.

Similarly, the Logitech MX Master MX 2S offers the same dimensions and weight. These office and home mice are ideal for those who are used to operate a heavy mouse.

If you’re switching from a light mouse to a heavy one then you can get tired quickly when using such mice at first.

Hand Orientation

The Logitech MX Master and MX Master 2S do not feature an ambidextrous shape and they’re only suitable for right-handed people.

The thumb rest on the left-side of these mice is a dream come true and it offers a pretty firm grip on the mouse.

And because they’re quite large and heavy, I wouldn’t recommend this mouse for kids.

Connectivity

The MX Master and 2S are wireless mice with rechargeable batteries. Both of these mice use the same Advanced 2.4 GHz wireless technology that is also been used in the M series Logitech mice.

We haven’t heard any complaints about this wireless technology and they offer a decent connection between the mice and the operating device.

Logitech FLOW

The only and main difference between these mice is that MX Master 2S is featured with a Logitech Flow technology.

This technology offers the user to copy the data from one PC and paste it into another PC.

All the saved data will remain inside the mouse and you won’t need any wireless connection between the two operating systems.

The MX Master does not feature this technology but both of these mice can be connected to 3 different devices and can be switched anytime from the side-scroll buttons.

Also, Mx Master could last for 40 days on a single charge while 2S can last for nearly 70 days on a single charge.

Logitech MX Master Review

The Logitech MX Master is a business mouse that is best suited for those who have to multitask throughout the day.

If you’re looking for a casual mouse for office or home then it’s a good option as well but it can be more productive if you’re multitasking.

Gaming with this mouse wouldn’t be the best choice.

I’m very impressed with the ergonomic design and the build quality of this mouse.

I’d recommend this mouse to those who have to work on different operating systems at the same time.

Logitech MX Master 2S Review

The Logitech MX Master 2S is another great choice out there if you’re looking for an above-average office mouse.

I’d say the same thing about this one as well, this mouse is ideal for those who have to multitask throughout the day.

The Logitech FLOW technology is definitely the selling point of these mice and the exceptional battery life makes it easier to decide.

However, this mouse is quite a bit more expensive than your average office mouse.

So, is it really worth it? Yes. Logitech MX Master 2S is definitely worth your hard-earned money and I’d definitely recommend it to a friend.

MX Master 2S difference

Conclusion

Logitech MX Master vs 2S: And the winner is…

There’s not much difference between the two and both of them offer almost the same performance.

However, MX Master 2S features the Logitech FLOW technology and longer battery life while MX Master falls a bit short.

I’d recommend buying 2S for those who have to work hard and switch between computers all the time but if you’re looking for a standard office mouse that is cheaper then MX Master will do the job for you.

Difference Between Logitech M585 and M590

DPI

DPI stands for dots per inch, and it’s a measure of how sensitive a mouse is. A high DPI would mean that you don’t have to drag your mouse all through the mat to go from one end of the screen to the other. As attractive as this sounds, it can be a nuisance too.

Both Logitech M585 and M590 have equal peak DPI of 1000 and this is good enough to ensure precision and speed as you scroll through your screen.

You can alter the software settings of your mouse, but the smoothness of the scroll would still depend on the fixed hardware DPI.

So in terms of DPI, both mice are equal with a good enough mark.

Weight

The weight of a mouse can cause fatigue and affect the comfort you get from long use. But even as necessary as it is to have a light mouse as possible, your mouse needs to have some good amount of weight to feel durable.

Both mice have a weight of 3.6oz (101g), and combined with their small and equal sizes are portable and can be carried about easily.

So in terms of weight and portability, both are lightweight computer mice.

Price

One of the differences between both mice is their prices. Since M590 is an improvement to M585, it’s normal to expect that the former costs more than the latter.

If you are on a tight budget and desire the cheapest amongst the two, the right choice for you would be Logitech M585.

Sensor

Both mice make use of Logitech Advanced Optical Tracking, a sensor technology that provides a resolution of 1000 DPI. This is good enough for daily use as it helps with good precision and quick responses too.

Since both products make use of the same sensor technology and have the same resolution, there is no winner or loser in this aspect as both of them are equal.

Perfect Hand for Use

Both computer mice are made for use by right-handed users. The design ensures that your palm grips it at a comfortable angle without pain in the long run.

Connection

Connecting to your computer is easy via Bluetooth, but you can also use the unifying receiver by running the unifying software on your computer.

Both mice have the Logitech flow feature that allows you to connect and control more than one computer at a time. This is because both mice are always in pairing mode and will allow multiple Bluetooth connections.

Click Noise

For most users, the sound of the mouse buttons clicking could be a lot and end up disturbing others around you.

That’s why you need a quieter mouse, so you can work quietly and not draw attention to yourself.

Logitech M585 makes a lot of noise when the buttons are clicked and it can get embarrassing in some situations. Logitech M590 reduces the click sounds by 90%, so you can use your mouse in private and silently.

So if click noise bothers you and you need the quieter mouse from amongst these two, Logitech M590 is the best choice for you.

Lighting

Both mice make use of LED lights that serve as indicators to show when the mouse is powered as well as the type of connection being used.

Since the mouse can connect to multiple devices, the LED lights also indicate which device is currently being controlled.

Logitech M585 Review

Logitech M585 is a multi-device mouse that allows you to have control over multiple devices at once using the Logitech flow technology.

This is possible due to its wireless connection, and the ability to connect to more than one device at the same time.

So you can now effortlessly transfer files between computers, eliminating the stress of using cloud services and emails.

It runs on a single AA battery that lasts for 2 years making it convenient and cost-effective.

The auto-sleep mode and on/off switches help you save power.

Its optical sensor gives a maximum of 1000 DPI, allowing you to scroll with precision and optimum speed across your screen.

All of these are put in place to ensure a great user experience.

It’s a lightweight and portable mouse that allows long usage without discomfort or fatigue.

Pros

  • Long-lasting battery
  • Lightweight and portable
  • Multiple connections and control of devices at the same time
  • Makes use of optical sensors
  • A wireless mouse
  • Cheap

Cons

  • Noisy mouse clicks

Check Current Price

Logitech M590 Review

Logitech M590 is a silent mouse that allows you to control more than one computer.

This is beneficial as you can share files between devices easily through the Logitech flow feature.

Each click is with minimal noise as the mouse reduces noise by up to 90%, allowing you to use it even in public without disturbing those around you.

The wireless mouse makes use of optical sensors and connects via Bluetooth.

Its sensor offers a DPI of 1000, so you get a smooth and precise scroll over your screen.

Its battery makes using it even more convenient as a single AA battery has a life of 2 years.

If you require a lightweight and portable mouse, Logitech M590 is a good option and sits comfortably on your palms due to its ergonomic design.

Pros

  • It can be used to control multiple devices
  • Silent clicks
  • Long-lasting battery
  • Lightweight and portable for increased maneuverability
  • Wireless mouse

Cons

  • It’s more expensive than Logitech M590

Conclusion

Logitech M585 vs M590: And the winner is…

With everything you need to know about both mice, you can now make the best purchase based on your preferences.

Both mice are equally comfortable for use due to their ergonomic design and lightweight, both have strong battery life, and can be used to control multiple devices. They are both wireless and have good max DPI for more efficient use.

Logitech M585 is the cheaper one amongst the two and is best for those who are on a budget, while Logitech M590 is the best choice for users who can’t stand noisy clicks.

Logitech G703 vs G Pro – we’ll be comparing the finest wireless mice from Logitech. Both of these top-of-the-line mice are specifically made for gaming and they offer exceptional performance.

We’ll be taking a closer look at these mice and comparing them in their DPI, optical sensor, price, design, weights & dimensions, and connectivity.

Difference Between Logitech G703 and G Pro

DPI

When you’re talking about the top-notch mice, you simply cannot ignore the DPI that they’re offering.

In this scenario, the most admired G703 only offers a max DPI of 12,000DPI resolutions and a response rate of 1ms. On the contrary, G Pro is offering true 16,000DPI resolutions along with a response rate of 1ms.

Although both of these mice are featured with Lightspeed technology, there’s a minor difference between the actual response rate of these mice. The G Pro is slightly faster than G703.

Optical Sensor

Logitech really did a great job with these mice because the optical sensors in them are probably the best in the world at the moment.

The might G703 is featured with a PMW3366 optical sensor which is considered as one of the best optical sensors ever made.

Similarly, the G Pro Wireless is also featured with a top-notch optical sensor known as the HERO 16K optical sensor.

Both of these optical sensors are flawless when it comes to performance but still, G Pro offers better performance and accuracy.

Price

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is one of the most expensive mice available in the market. If you’re looking to get a hold of this beast then you better be ready to make it rain.

G703 is also quite expensive but not as G Pro Wireless. These Logitech devices offer the best bang for the buck but is it really worth spending this amount of money on a mouse? Hell yes.

The Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED and Logitech G Pro Wireless are readily available on Amazon and if you still have any concern about these devices then you can also read some informative buyer reviews there as well.

Design

Most of the Logitech devices usually have a very unique and futuristic design but G703 and G Pro feature a very simple design.

The G703 Lightspeed features a very minimalistic design with a curved side to offer a firm grip for right-handed users.

Matte-black exterior with RGB-lit scroll wheel and logo at the bottom of the shell, on-the-fly DPI button, and a couple more programmable buttons on the side.

This is pretty much it as far as the design goes. Unfortunately, G703 is not suitable for lefties. If you’re a left-handed person then this one might not be the best option for you.

On the other hand, G Pro wireless features an ambidextrous shape that is suitable for both, right and left-handed users. There are few signs of RGB lights on this mouse but I’m afraid to say that there, not much effort done by Logitech to add some RGBs on this one.

Another downside of this one is that there’s no DPI button located on top but the optional programmable buttons on each side can be customized to control the DPI.

Weight & Dimensions

The dimensions of G703 and G Pro Wireless are very similar but there’s a huge difference between the weight of these devices.

The G703 weighs around 107g  (3.7oz) which is quite heavy for a mouse but on the contrary, G Pro only weighs around 80g (2.8oz).  The G703 is for those who love playing games with a heavy hand but if you’re into lightweights then G Pro is the way to go.

As far as the dimensions go, the G703 is 12.1cm long (4.8’’), somewhere around 6.7cm (2.6’’) at its widest and nearly 4.2cm (1.69’’) deep.

Similarly, the G Pro Wireless is measured around 12.4cm (4.2’’) long, about 6.3cm (2.5’’) wide and somewhere around 3.9cm (1.6’’) deep.

The G Pro is a bit larger but less deep which means that it’s perfect for palm grip while G703 is great for claw grip.

Connectivity

Both of these devices, Logitech G703 and Logitech G Pro are wireless mice. Another similarity between them is that both of these are featured with the same Lightspeed wireless technology.

This futuristic technology from Logitech offers a really strong connection between the operating device and the mouse.

A major concern that most buyers have is about the response time and the state of the connection between the two devices but these Logitech devices are definitely an exception.

Battery Life

Another perk of G703 and G Pro is that you’ll be getting very long-lasting battery life. The G703 LIGHTSPEED can last for nearly 32 hours when RGB lights are turned off and around 24 hours with RGB lights on.

On the other hand, the battery timings that G Pro Wireless have to offer are even better. It can stay awake for nearly 60 hours with RGB on and 48 hours when RGB lights are turned off.

Logitech G703 Review

Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED is a phenomenal gaming mouse and made for very intense and competitive gaming.

G703 is definitely among the ivy league gaming mice but since the release of G Pro Wireless, G703 has been living under its shadow.

Moving on, G703 is a decent mouse that will really come in handy when you’re playing your favorite games, and also, it’s really durable and can last for a really long time.

In conclusion, G703 is definitely a good choice when it comes to the top-notch gaming mice but it’s a bit on the expensive side.

Check Current Price

Logitech G Pro Wireless

Logitech G Pro Wireless is currently the best wireless gaming mouse in the town.

Even some of the best gaming mice like Razer Viper Ultimate and Razer Basiliks Ultimate are falling short of this one.

Logitech G Pro is the absolute best and if you’re looking for something that will win your games then I’d recommend the mighty Logitech G Pro.

In the end, its ambidextrous design makes it perfect for left-handed users as well and if you’re one of them then G Pro is the one for you.

Conclusion

Logitech G703 vs G Pro Wireless: The Winner is…

The Logitech G Pro Wireless is the obvious winner here.

It offers a lot of flexibility and is more precise than G703. Both of these mice are flawless when it comes to gaming and I can recommend both of these to someone looking for top-of-the-line gaming mice.

I feel that G703 is more suitable for those who’ve used something like G502 back in the day but if you’re upgrading from something MM710 or Sensei 310 then I’d recommend the Logitech G Pro.

One of the best gaming mice of all time, Logitech G502 HERO is still ruling the hearts of many.

Logitech G502 HERO features a very sophisticated design which makes it ideal for right-handed people but for lefties, this one is a nightmare.

There are not many RGB LEDs on this one but the backlit Logitech logo at the bottom makes it up for it.  G502 HERO is a mid-weight mouse but with those adjustable weights, you can bend the laws of physics to your needs.

There are 11 customizable buttons on this thing and all of them can be customized using the Logitech G Hub.

G502 HERO is a very durable mouse and will last for a very very long time.

In the end, G502 HERO is the absolute best when it comes to gaming and really offers the best bang for the money.

Pros

  • Ergonomic design
  • Very Durable
  • The scroll wheel is flawless
  • Side rubbery grips offer a very firm grip

4. Redragon M801 Review

Best Wireless Gaming Mouse

Redragon is quite famous for manufacturing budget-friendly gaming peripherals but they really did a great job with the Redragon M801.

It is one of the best wireless gaming mouse available in the market. Redragon M801 is very similar to the UtechSmart Venus Pro but its matte-black interior is definitely superior.

And those RGB lights on and around the mouse are a sight to look at.

This mouse is also featured with a very accurate and precise optical sensor that offers 16,000DPI resolutions.

There are 9 different programmable buttons on this thing and all of them are very well placed. You will not be making any accidental clicks and those side grips really offer a nice grip.

There’s also a place for your ring and pinky fingers which makes it ideal for palm grip. If you’re into claw grip then this one is not for you.

The exterior is quite slippery and your claws won’t be able to hold for much longer.

In conclusion, Redragon M801 is a very nice mouse with a very professional looking shape.

It offers a lot of comfort for its users and those RGB lights just love. A fun fact about this mouse, it can last for nearly 60-70hrs on a single charge (No RGB Lights).

For a mouse under 50 bucks, Redragon M801 offers a great value for money.

Pros

  • Very comfortable
  • Exceptionally long battery life
  • On-the-fly DPI button
  • Good for MMOs as well

Cons

  • Can gets slippery with sweaty hands

5. UtechSmart Venus Pro (Wireless)

Best MMO Mouse for Gaming 2020

The UtechSmart Venus Pro is only for those who love playing MMO and RPGs.

I mean if you have 16 customizable buttons then you won’t be comfortable with it in fps games.

The accidental clicks will definitely drive you crazy but if you’re into games like Far cry and Skyrim then this mouse is a dream come true.

The UtechSmart Venus Pro has some decent specs to offer. It is equipped with an optical sensor that features up to 16,000DPI resolutions.

The UtechSmart Venus Pro wireless offers exceptional battery timing. This bad boy can last for nearly 70hrs on continuous gaming and browsing.

The design looks quite futuristic but the only thing that bugs me out is that the thumb rest is too low and if you have small hands then finding your sweet spot can be a bit difficult.

The build quality is a lot better than similar knock-off Chinese mice in the market.

Lastly, UtechSmart Venus Pro is definitely an amazing machine and I definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for something under 50.

Furthermore, there’s also a wired version of this mouse available in the market that will cost a lot less. So if you’re on a tight budget you might want to check that one out instead.

Pros

  • 16 Programmable buttons
  • Very long battery life
  • Glowing RGB lights
  • Strong wireless connection

Cons

  • Not ergonomic design
  • Not suitable for lefties

6. HyperX Pulsefire Surge Review

Best Mouse for FPS Games

The HyperX Pulsefire Surge is a dream come true for those who love simple yet deadly gaming mice.

The HyperX Pulsefire Surge is equipped with state-of-the-art Pixart 3389 optical sensor which is known far and wide for its exceptional performace.

This optical sensor offers 16,000DPI resolutions which is ideal for FPS games. For games like Warzone, PUBG, and Valorant, this on will come in handy.

The HyperX Pulsefire Surge features a very minimalist shape with two RG strips and a backlit-RGB logo at the bottom of the shell.

On-the-fly DPI button offers flexibility to the users and you can change the DPI anytime you want.

This mouse is definitely a good option out there if you’re looking for a gaming mouse under $50 but this one is not as comfortable as some other similar mouse in the same category.

HyperX Pulsefire Surge weighs around 100g which is the ideal weight for a gaming mouse.

Lastly, the only downside of this one is that there are no side grips on this one which makes it difficult to find your sweet spot.

Pros

  • Minimalist design
  • Mid-weight mouse
  • Backlit-RGB lights
  • Durable mechanical switches

Cons

  • No side grips
  • Gets dirty quickly

Difference Between Logitech M171 and M185

DPI

Dots Per Inch or DPI plays an important role in the overall performance of the mouse.

The Logitech M171 and M185 are offering 1000DPI resolution which is enough for a 60hz display and even on large monitors and projectors, these wireless mouse will do their job.

These Logitech devices are quite fast and accurate and you won’t suffer any input lag with these mice.

Overall, 1000DPI might not be the best choice if you’re buying for gaming purposes but if you’re buying one for home or office use then you will not notice a thing.

Optical Sensor

The optical sensors used by Logitech in their devices are always one of the best available in the market.

The Logitech M171 and M185 are also equipped with state-of-the-art optical sensors that will allow you to surf the web on smooth and rocky surfaces.

A low-grade optical sensor breaks very quickly while these flagship optical sensors can last for a very long time.

The Logitech M171 and M185 are equipped with ‘’Advanced Optical Sensor’’ and they’ve used the same optical sensor in pretty much all of the M series mice.

This optical sensor is very durable and we haven’t heard anything bad about this one, so you can be sure it will last for a long time.

Price

The Logitech M171 and M185 are available in the market for a very reasonable price but the M185 is just a bit more expensive.

The price difference between the two is almost negligible and both of them will only cost you very few bucks.

Although Logitech products are often quite expensive, there’s an exception with these mice.

The Logitech M171 and Logitech M185 are readily available on Amazon where they have over 10,000+ positive reviews combined.

Both of these mice are worth every penny but if you’re going for looks then I’d recommend M171.

Design

When it comes to the design of these mice, M185 does not stand a chance against the minimalist looking M171.

The Logitech M171 features a very modern and down-to-earth shape with textured rubber grips on each side and a big bump at the bottom of the shell for a steady grip.

On the contrary, Logitech M185 features an old-school design with no real beauty whatsoever. The soap-look-alike M185 does not feature any side rubber grips or any other fancy-looking textures.

Both of these mice feature 3 buttons but there’s a difference in the build quality of these products.

In conclusion, M171 has the looks while the M185 is just an ordinary looking wireless mouse.

Dimensions & Weight

Both, the Logitech M171 and M185 feature an ambidextrous shape and they’re quite small in size than your average mice.

The Logitech M171 is about 9.7cm (3.8’’) long, somewhere around 6.1cm (2.4’’) at its widest and 3.5cm (1.3’’) tall.

M171 is a light-headed mouse and it weighs around 70g (2.4oz) which is pretty good considering that it has a AA battery inside of it as well.

On the other hand, the M185 is quite similar and when measured, it is somewhere around 9cm (3.5’’) long, 5.8cm (2.2’’) wide, and about 3.9cm (1.5) tall.

The M185 is also a light-headed mouse and only weighs at 75g (2.6oz). M185 and M171 are one of the lightest wireless mice available in the market.

Hand Orientation

The Logitech M171 and M185 feature an ambidextrous shape which means that these mice are suitable for both, right and left-handed people.

Most of the Logitech mice are made with a right-handed concept in mind but they really did make an exception for these mice.

The M171 is quite comfortable because it is providing the ideal posture for your hand but we cannot say the same for M185.

Connectivity

As we’ve mentioned before, Logitech M171 and M185 are wireless mice and one of the best out there.

These mice are equipped with an advanced 2.4hz wireless technology that provides a strong connection between the operating device and these mice.

Users won’t have to deal with input lag and sudden freeze due to connection lost. These mice can be operated from a long distance of 10m.

Battery Life

The battery life of these mice is quite exceptional. These mice run on a single AA battery but you won’t have to worry about them for a very long time because these mice can last for nearly 1 year on a single AA-battery.

It usually depends on the usage but the company claims that they can at least operate for a year before they run out of juice.

Logitech M171 Review

The Logitech M171 is a very modern-looking mouse that features advanced wireless components.

The scroll button is a bit jerky and does not feel very good but the smooth texture and the build quality make it up.

Logitech M171 is a decent mouse and I’m really impressed with the battery timings and overall, M171 will do the job for you as long as you don’t lose the receiver.

Lastly, the amazing shape of M171 is the selling point of this mouse because it looks really professional and performance is quite exceptional as well.

Logitech M185 Review

The Logitech M185 is one of the best-selling wireless mice of all time.

People who bought this mouse are really impressed with the performance and build quality.

Logitech M185 might not have the best looks but it definitely an incredible wireless mouse.

The mouse buttons feel very light and the weight is just right. Except for the design of this mouse, I wouldn’t change a thing about this computer mouse.

In conclusion, M185 is a beast and one of the best of all time when it comes to your daily-driver ordinary mouse.

Conclusion

Logitech M171 vs M185: And the winner is…

Both of these mice offer the same performance but for some reason, people around the world have praised M185 and they believe that it is one of the best mice ever created.

Personally I’d go for M171 just for the looks but Logitech M185 is the crowd favorite.

If you’re looking for a daily-driver then I’d recommend both of these mice but if you’re going for a modern touch then go for M171.

Difference Between MM710 and MM711

DPI

The Cooler Master MM710 and MM711 are offering true 16K DPI with 7 different DPI resolutions.

The default DPI resolution for these mice is 1200DPI but you can also choose between 400, 800, 1200, 1600, 3200, 6400, 16000 DPI resolution.

These mice from Cooler Master are quite fast and you might have to use them for at least a week to find your sweet spot. You can always use the Cooler Master MasterPLUS to customize the DPI.

Most of the games do not require you to have DPI more than 3200 but if you’re a hardcore gamer and love playing fps games then the additional DPI will come in handy.

MM710 and MM711 are offering the same amount of DPI and the performance of these mice will be identical.

Optical Sensor

The optical sensor plays a vital role in the overall performance of the mouse. Cooler Master MM710 and MM711 are featured with PixArt PMW3389 optical sensor.

We already know that PMW series optical sensors have done a great job in the past and they are well known for their amazing performance and accuracy.

There’s no difference between the optical sensors of these mice and both of them will perform in the same manner.

There’s not much difference between these two mice and most of the specifications of these mice are also almost identical to each other.

Price

The Cooler Master MM710 and MM711 are quite similar in their price as well. MM711 is a bit more expensive than MM710 but the price difference is not too much.

It’s important to mention that the price tag is very reasonable for what these mice are offering. The build quality of these mice is exceptional and they are very long-lasting as well.

Take a look at the latest price of the Cooler Master MM710 and Cooler Master MM711 here.

Design

One of the main differences between MM710 and MM711 is the RGB lighting in these mice.

The Cooler Master MM710 and MM711 are featured with an ambidextrous shape which is ideal for both right and left-handed people.

The shell is quite unusual with a lot of holes on the top and side of the shell and you can literally see through the mouse.

There’s no room for any rubbery side grips so you will have to work with these holes to find the perfect grip.

The MM711 is featured with RBG lights inside the shell as well as an RGB-lit scroll wheel whereas MM710 does not feature any RGB contents.

This is the one and the only difference between the design of MM710 and MM711. The Cooler Master is offering MM710 and MM711 in matt black, glossy black, matte white, and glossy white colors.

Weight and Dimensions

The CoolerMaster is dominating the lightweight market with its MM710 and MM711. The MM710 is the king of lightweight mice because it only weighs around 53g (1.8oz).

When measured, the MM710 is somewhere around 11.6cm (4.5cm) long, 6.2cm (2.4’’) at the widest, and nearly 3.8cm (1.5’’) tall. The MM711 weighs around 60g (2.1oz) and the dimensions are the same as MM710.

These mice are one of the lightest gaming mice that you’ll find in the market. There’s enough space for any type of grip.

If you like to grip the mouse with your claws then these mice are perfect for you but thumb grip with larger hands might be a problem with this one.

One of the biggest perks of these mice is that with these many holes, your palms will not get sweaty and you will have a better grip on the mouse even after hours of gaming.

Cooler Master MM710 Review

The Cooler Master did an amazing job with MM710 because this mouse is exceptionally fast and quite durable as well.

It is featured with mechanical mouse switches that will last for around 20 million clicks and on the fly DPI button is also a treat to have.

The overall design and dimensions of the mouse are quite impressive and the fact that this mouse is perfectly suited for lefties as well really contributes to the success of this mouse.

Lastly, the glossy black texture looks very elegant on this mouse and is easy to fall in love with.

Cooler Master MM711 Review

The Cooler Master MM711 is pretty much the same as the MM710 but the RGB lights do make a difference.

The RGB lights really add to the beauty of this mouse and they are worth those extra few bucks.

This mouse features the same design and dimensions as MM710 and the specifications are also identical.

The RBG lights, weight and price are the only differences between the two, and other than that, these two are almost the same mouse.

In conclusion, Cooler Master MM711 is just an RGB featured version of MM710 but for some reason, MM711 is more beautiful.

Conclusion

Cooler Master MM710 vs MM711: And the winner is…

Well, it’s quite hard to choose the winner between the MM710 and MM711. However, it’s not so hard for me because I’m into RGB stuff and I will always choose Cooler Master MM711 over MM710.

On the other hand, if you don’t want those flashy RGB lights then you can always go for MM710 and pay a bit less for the same performance, accuracy, and speed.
